Course Content:
What is diabetes?
Understanding Type 1 diabetes
Understanding Type 2 diabetes
Recognising and managing hypoglycaemia
Recognising and managing hyperglycaemia
Supporting a child’s diabetic needs within a childcare setting
Cost:
£350. We can accommodate any number of attendees and offer the option to run two 1-hour sessions consecutively at no extra cost.
Duration:
Approximately 1 hour.
Assessment and Certification:
At the end of the course, participants will complete a multiple-choice exam. Upon successful completion, certification is awarded, valid for one year.
