Course Overview
This CPR and AED training course equips participants with essential life-saving skills, including resuscitation techniques and the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Following the latest Resuscitation Council UK guidelines, the course covers key topics such as managing an unconscious casualty, performing CPR, and responding to heart attacks.
Course Content
- Managing an unconscious casualty
- Performing CPR
- Placing someone in the recovery position
- Recognising and responding to heart attacks
- Introduction to AED devices (all models)
- Practical use of the AED
Course Duration
This course takes approximately 3 hours.
Cost
£395 for in-house training for up to 15 learners.
Assessment
Participants will be assessed continuously throughout the course, with a brief written assessment at the end.
Certification
Learners will receive a certificate from Skills Training Group. Certification is valid for three years.
